The Tournament
The MGC Annual Open Bridge Tournament is one of the country's distinguished club events. Held annually, it brings together around 40 teams from across India, including players from Calcutta, Bangalore and Bombay.
The tournament is an event that players look forward to—not only for the bridge, but also for the Club's spectacular hospitality, food and arrangements. At Madras Gymkhana Club, the game and the community around it are inseparable.
Regular Sessions
Duplicate bridge sessions run on a weekly schedule. Open to members and visiting players with prior arrangement.
Annual Tournament
South Zone ranking event held annually. Attracts national-level players and serious club competitors from across India.
Inter-Club Fixtures
The club participates in inter-club bridge matches against other institutions within Chennai and the region.
